  • vanilla extract (optional)
  • Start by combining 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a small saucepan. Mix them together until they are well combined.
  • Next, slowly pour in 1 cup of milk and stir continuously over medium heat until the mixture is hot, but not boiling.
  • Be sure to whisk the hot chocolate to ensure that the cocoa and sugar are fully dissolved.
  • Once the hot chocolate is heated through, remove it from the heat and stir in ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract. — This will add a delicious and aromatic touch to your homemade creation.
