If you are reading this post you don’t need me to tell you the benefits of having a business. You are here because it is already on your mind and you need the motivation to start a business.
Everyone has moments of fear in life or business. Sometimes we should listen to the fears because that is what helps us stay safe. Those fears can be completely unfounded and you could missout on something great.

Starting a business is full of ups and downs. If we stop listening to the things holding us back, the things we could accomplish would be unimaginable. If you have the grit to stick to it and keep adding one layer of bricks at a time you will be a success.
You have to dig deep down inside to find the motivation to start a business.
You Are Your Own Worst Critic
Often, the worst things that can happen are all in your head. Humans let their imagination run 50 feet out in front of them causing them to become so scared of the unknown. It is just that, unknown. There is no guarantee that those bad things will happen.
Rather than allowing those fears overwhelm you. Turn those negative thoughts into positive ones. Find ways to pull yourself out of those emotional situations.
Easier said than done I know. But you can do it.
Find Your Motivation To Start A Business
Before we dive into some of the things to keep you motivated. I want you to know that no matter what I say or the tips I give you. YOU have to be the one to believe you can build your business. You have to find what motivates you to keep working those long hours long before you see any reward.
You don’t have to have everything just right. Everything is editable. Blog posts do not have to be perfectly worded. You don’t have to look perfect on your facebook lives. It is a scary thing to get more visible in your business but the end result will advance your business more than you can imagine. Find ways to calm your inner fears and hit publish or that scarry red go live button.
I heard this from a pod-caster I follow and I was catching up on this past week. She said this.
“When we have a message that will help others it is selfish of us to not put it out there for others to see”.
Wow, that was so true. What is holding you back from getting your message out?
Don’t Let Excuses Keep You From Showing Up
When you have any type of excuses pop into your mind I want you to write it out if possible but if the situation does not allow I want you do think of the opposite.
Negative
My website does not look perfect. I need to do more work.
I am don’t know enough. No one will want to listen to me.
I don’t speak well on camera.
Positive
I make it the best I can do with the resources I have.
My message will help others and I am just as worthy as anyone else.
The more I practice the better I will get.
Just get out there and do it. If you wait until the time is perfect you will never start. The journey of a thousand miles starts with the first step. What is holding you back?
Keep Practicing
It is scary but guess what? The people who seem like they are lightyears ahead of you were all scared when they first started and sometimes they still are. Even the people who seem like they have it all figured out will be the first to admit that they don’t
Here are some ideas you can do if you want to practice posts or even doing live video.
Start a facebook group. You only have to add one person to create one. So add your best friend who will support you in what you are trying to do.
Or like me, and you have a mother who never uses her Facebook account you can add them and they will never know the difference. That way you can practice before you go on your facebook page and do it for real but don’t get so stuck in practice mode that you don’t get out there and do it.
Turn Your Fear Into Energy To Keep Going
In time you will find ways to turn your concerns into positive thoughts and make your nervousness change direction and turn it into positive energy. I love using my essential oils to help with this. You would be amazed at how quickly they will work.
You know that scared feeling that makes your skin crawl and your stomach upset? Yes, the bad kind of scared. When you feel that way take a deep breath and pull all of those bad feelings into one tiny little ball in your mind and tuck them away in an invisible corner of your lower body.
Your mind tends to push downward when you are moving your ill feelings. When you do this exercise it will help you control your nervousness and be able to still act. You never want to let your fears paralyze you.
Try new things and remember that you are often the one thinking the worst things about yourself. There will be learning lessons (sometimes we call them failures) and there will be amazing successes.
You just have to keep moving forward.
